The attached copy of COR's memo to VCAS states the RCAF position on gap fillers as closely as it is possible to do.
With this in mind, this directorate's position is that CCE's estimated cost figures (8.4 million) on the 45 gap filler program fall well within the financial resources already approved, (11.0 million) and are therefore concurred in.
It is not possible to state whether any particular site is too expensive because it is not known what is defined as "high cost". Therefore, specific queries on CE cost justification should be directed to CCE.
