Emergency Work - Gap Filler
Radar Station - General
The attached CE183, AFHQ No 381-24, provides for unforeseen emergency work in connection with the care and custody of the various Gap Filler Radar Stations assigned to ADC stations and to specifically include the erection of farm type gates, wing fences and no trespassing signs.
This work is required to protect the Department against claims arising from damage or injury to the general public. The access roads are not being maintained in a passable condition and public vehicles could become bogged down on these roads.
The total estimated cost of all sites is $11,500.00 and a cost breakdown per site is shown on the CE183. Funds (cash) will be available in Primary 81 and are being provided to ADC in FEs attached at flyleaf. The total Treasury Board authority for the sites involved is $3,767,000.00 and present total commitments are $2,434,722.22.
