Gap Filler Radar Stations - E Quebec.
Defence Construction (1951) Limited has advised that an acceptance of contract has been mailed to you for the field survey, soil investigation and engineering recommendations for the Gap Filler Radar Stations in the above noted area.
Pending receipt of letters of instructions pertaining to the actual field survey on individual sites, you are requested to proceed on reconnaissance trips to the sites listed below. Your attention is directed to Para 9 of the Statement of Services dated 10 July 59.
Although it may be necessary to make separate reconnaissance trips to individual sites, it is permissable to make one trip to include a number of sites, but the information requested in Para 9 is to be submitted immediately on completion of the trip for each site visited. Consideration should also be given to combining the reconnaisance trip and the commencement of the field survey at the sites which are furthest removed from your head office. This will entail waiting for the letter of instructions which will be mailed shortly.
