Triangulation Stations and Trigonometric Levelling
Enclosed you will find a list showing your "Site Names" and giving the names of Geodetic Stations near or at the sites you listed. If there was no Geodetic Station within 30 miles of your site, we stated under the Remarks: No Geodetic Control. We have enclosed the unpublished data (description, latitude, longitude and elevation) for stations in Western Ontario. Also enclosed are the 1927 NA Datum values for the stations listed in our publications Nos 29, 55 and 60, and for station Ste Cecile.
For some of the sites listed by you we feel certain that there is control available from either the Army Survey Establishment or the Topographical Survey. Mr D Ketch (Local 2-2495) is the person to contact at Army Survey and Mr CE Hoganson (Local 4-5079) is the person to contact at the Topographical Survey Division of our Department.
