Re: Termination of Contracts
Gap Filler Radar Stations, Various
With reference to the termination of contracts for the various Gap Filler Radar Stations, it is requested that a review be made of the storage contracts and recommendations be submitted where it is considered desirable to move the material to the nearest Gap Filler Radar Station where the buildings have been erected.
Material in storage at Sault Ste Marie for Batchawana might be moved to Elliot Lake.
Material in storage at Manitouwadge for Manitouwadge might be moved to Atikokan.
Materials in storage at Port Arther for Marathon might be moved to Atikokan. It is not clear from correspondence received whether the material stored at Lakehead Freightways Ltd is in Marathon or Port Arthur.
Material in storage at Nipigon for Nipigon might be moved to Atikokan.
In connection with Batchawana and Nipigon, it is understood that there is material stored either at the site or along the access road. Your recommendations are also requested as to the desirability of moving this material (particularly the bridge material) to the nearest Gap Filler Radar Station.
