This will acknowledge your letter of April 4th. Thank you for keeping us posted on these matters.
Regarding the access roads to these proposed tower sites, I believe that a road has been constructed to the Belleterre site but not to the Nishkotea Lake site. If this is true we would certainly like to use the Belleterre road and if so allowed would keep the road passable but we are not equipped to do major maintenance if the need should arise. I assume from your letter that Department of National Defence intends to keep other people from using these roads and I wonder how they intend to do this.
We would not use any buildings on the sites but are willing to keep an eye on them, when we are in the area, and advise the Department of National Defence if and when we see any damage being done. We could not, of course, accept responsibility for preventing damages by other people to these buildings.
