Re: Gap Filler Programme
Status of Construction Contracts
As requested in your letter of February 15th, steps are being taken to terminate all the Gap Filler contracts. A number of these have, as a matter of fact, been terminated and termination costs provided by Treasury Board. As discussed with you today, we will advise you of termination proposals as we put them forward to Treasury Board. Every effort will be made to complete as many of these as possible before April 1, 1963, but there will be a few which will require negotiations which may take a little longer.
