Dear Sir:
Forestry Towers in Northern Ontario
Your File: 5-1 (CFP)
Further to your leter of 15 February 1960 the question of interference with your radio communications was referred to the appropriate technical staff at this headquarters.
The results of their investigations indicate that it is impossible to predict, at this time, the degree of interference to be expected if any. However, based on current techniques, it is the general opinion that no serious problem will arise which cannot be corrected by suitable antenna location and, perhaps, by additional shielding of the communications equipment.
Any further problems which arise after installation will require individual examination. You may be assured that, should this occur, adquate corrective measures will be considered, consistent with RCAF policy and responsibility in the matter.
Yours very truly,
(SJ Balke)
Wing Commander
for Chief of the Air Staff
