Re: Gap Filler Sites -

Would you kindly refer to the correspondence exchanged between our departments, your file 26-10-7, concerning certain proposed Gap Filler sites.
Authority has now been received to proceed with this programme and our engineers have requested that permission be obtained from the owners to carry out soil investigation and a field survey of the area known as Westport Relocated. I am attaching five copies of a map illustrating its location together with a memorandum containing a complete description of the proposed site.
In order that the survey may be carried out before winter conditions become serious, information respecting this requirement has been forwarded direct to your regional manager in Toronto, with the request that one of your agents, with our consulting engineers, visit the area and obtain the owner's permission to carry out this preliminary work.
When the field survey and soil investigation have been completed, we will be in a position to provide you with a more accurate location and outline of the area to be acquired.
