Would you please refer to telephone conversations between Messrs Larochelle and MacDonald of your Real Estate Division, and F/L Conlin of this Headquarters, concerning the estimated construction commencement dates for the Gap Filler sites being constructed during this winter.
Attached is a list of the sites in question, setting forth details of the dates in respect of tender calls, contract award and commencement of construction. I believe you will realize that there is generally some two weeks between the tender call date and the contract award. Following the award of the contract it can generally be considered that construction will commence within two weeks. In the case of Eaglet River, the work is being carried out by our Construction and Maintenance Unit.
If any further information is required regarding these sites please do not hesitate to let us know.
