TERMINATION OF CONSTRUCTION
GAP FILLER RADAR STATIONS

SITES: Batchawana, Bridgetown, Lucknow, Manitoudwadge, Marathon, Nipigon, Sparta, Summerville Centre.

CONDITIONS:

1. All work shall be stopped at its present stage, including clearing and grubbing, rock excavation, common excavation and fill, granular base course, buildings and tower foundations, except that the disposal of merchantable timber and debris shall be completed and the access road shall be left in a passable condition as far as constructed. Buildings and tower foundations shall be backfilled and the site rough graded.

2. The diesel alternator sets and steelox buildings will not be shipped to the site.

3. A list of all material or equipment shall be prepared and forwarded to the RCAF Project Officer for a decision regarding storage.

4. The site and access road (including any private road used for access) shall be cleaned up to the satisfaction of the RCAF, the Department of Lands and Forests and the owners.

5. Any doubtful item, which in the opinion of DCL should not be completed, shall be brought to the attention of the RCAF Project Officer for a decision.
