Ordered that, under authority of the Crown Lands Act, the administration, management and control of three pieces of Crown land situate at LaScie in the District of White Bay South and comprising 148.88 acres, as described in the Schedule hereto, be transferred to Her Majesty the Queen in the right of Canada for use by the Department of National Defence subject to the following conditions:
SCHEDULE
All that piece or parcel of land situate and being at LaScie in the District of White Bay South and lying between two parallel lines; perpendicularly distant fifty feet from and on opposide sides of a centre line and and a centre line produced described as follows; beginning at a point in the easterly limit of the road (sixty-six feet wide) extending between Shoe Cove and La Scie the said point being one hundred and twenty feet and six-tenths of a foot on a bearing of south twenty-seven degrees ten minutes east from the westermost angle of land described in a Crown Grant to James lacey and registered in Volume 91, Folio 69 in the Registry of Crown Grants; thence running through the said land granted to James Lacey south eighty-seven degrees five minutes east sixty-nine feet and nine-tenths of a foot; thence to the right along the arc of a curve of forty-two degrees one hundred and one feet; thence south forty-four degrees eighteen minutes east nineteen feet; thence to the left along the arc of a curve of twenty degrees one hundred and thirty-three feet; thence south sixty-seven degrees fifty-four minutes east three hundred and twenty-two feet and six-tenths of a foot to a point in the southern boundary of the aforesaid land granted to James Lacey; The said lot being required for a road and containing an area of fifty-four acres and twelve hundredths of an acre. All bearings being referred to the true meridian.
Also all that other piece or parcel of land known as Main Site Area A abutted and bounded as follows: beginning at the point of termination of the centre line of the road hereinbefore described and running thence by Crown Land north forty-eight degrees forty-seven minutes east one thousand one hundred and fifty-nine feet; thence north forty-one degrees eight minutes west one thousand two hundred feet; thence south forty-eight degrees twenty-two minutes west one thousand six hundred and thirty feet; thence south forty-one degrees thirty-eight minutes east one thousand two hundred feet; thence north forty-seven degrees eighteen minutes east four hundred and sixty feet more or less to the point of beginning and containing an area of forty-four acres and six-tenths of an acre. All bearings being referred to the true meridian.
Also all that other piece or parcel of land situate and being near LaScie aforesaid abutted and bounded as follows; beginning at a point marked by an iron pin the northerly limit of an area hereinbefore described and required for a road the said point having reference from the northeaster end of a circular curve to the right of nineteen degrees and having a length of six hundred and fourteen feet as follows; north fifty-three degrees fourteen minutes east two hundred and ninety-five feet and three-tenths of a foot and thence north thirty-one degrees sixteen minutes west fifty feet and two-tenths of a foot to the principal point of beginning; thence running by Crown lands north thrity-one degrees sixteen minutes west one thousand four hundred and forty-nine feet and six-tenths of a foot; thence north sixty-five degrees fourteen minutes east one thousand and twenty feet; thence north seventy-five degrees fourteen minutes east seven hundred and ninety-six feet and four-tenths of a foot; thence south nineteen degrees forty-six minutes east one thousand and thirty-two feet more or less to the northerly limit of the road hereinbefore described; thence along the said northerly limit in a general westerly direction one thousand six hundred and fifty-three feet and eight-tenths of a foot more or less to the point of beginning, the said lot being required for water supply purposes and containing an area of fifty acres and sixteen hundredths of an acres. All bearings being referred to the true meridian.
