TRANSPORT

The Board, in connection with the Gap Filler Stations located in the Province of Newfoundland, recommends that authority be granted to accept, from the Government of the Province of Newfoundland, the transfer of the administration and control of three parcels of land containing 148.88 acres in the District of White Bay South and more particularly described by Provincial Order in Council 918-'58 of December 8, 1958 on record in the Department of Transport under Deed No 61693, the transfer to be subject to the following conditions:

1. all minerals, quarry materials, coal, natureal gas, oil and salt on, in and under the said lands to be reserved to Her Majesty in the right of Newfoundland;
2. the said lands to be used at all times by the Department of National Defence in connection with the Gap Filler Stations located in the Province, and;
3. if, and as soon as, the said lands cease to be used for the purpose described in (b) above, the administration and control thereof shall thereupon be transferred to Her Majesty in right of Newfoundland by Her Majesty in right of Canada.
