Airmen Trying to Have Some Fun

I don’t know who the airman on the right may be, but the guy on the left with the cavaly hat w/bedroll pin was Leslie Carrol Oldham, from Vernal, Utah. I worked closely with him, so closely that my former wife developed a 'thing' for him.

Unfortunately, Les was killed in a boating accident on the scenic Green River in Utah during the summer season of 1967.

Les worked part time at the rod and gun club, rode a red and white BMW motorcycle, and was an A1C controller beforte he rotated to the ZI. The photograph was taken in front of my apartment in Geibelstadt, a place I rented from Herr Karl Scheurn.
