Comments by June Roberts (now Patterson):
Major Pierre Legendre was a dentist at 4 Wing in Baden Soellingen at the time of his death. He was killed in an automobile accident. The Army dentists were posted to 35 Field Dental Unit with the HQ originally being in Metz France, and then subsequently moved to Lahr Germany so the proper designation for him would be 35 FDU Det 4 Wing. I was his dental assistant at 4 Wing for almost two years.
