10 March 1963 - Civilian - Mr RAE "Robert" Forsyth

Comments by Miles Linklater:

Forsyth was 19 years of age at the time of his death and he was killed in an automobile accident. He was a passenger in a car that struck a tree on the road between Longwy and Longuyon. He lived with his parents in PMQs which were located at Longuyon. Three people were killed in this accident - Forsyth, another RCAF dependent aged 18 by the name of MacIntyre, and the driver of the vehicle who was a US serviceman. A fourth passenger (reported to be Tom Hunt) was thrown clear and survived the crash, although he was severly injured.
