The annual ceremony of La Toussaint, All Saints Day, was celebrated on 1 November in Metz and Toul. A/C DAR Bradshaw attended the ceremony at Metz Chabiere Cemetery. W/C OC Brown was in attendance at Toul and Choloy Cemeteries and laid wreaths with French and American officials at local cemeteries.

Choloy Cemetery, France – Extension for Dependents

Arrangements were completed with the Commonwealth War Graves Commission to permit the burial of Service dependents, and members of the civilian component of RCAF Units in Continental Europe, in the new extension to the non-war section of Choloy Cemetery in France. Effective 1 Aug 61 personnel have the option of selecting a local civilian cemetery or the Choloy Cemetery as a burial place for deceased dependents. Perpetual care and maintenance of the cemetery will be the responsibility of the Canadian Government, but funeral and internment charges are borne by the individual.
