Representatives of various army units located in Sherbrooke visited unit to secure possible recruits both officers and airmen for their units when this unit closes in Dec. Each representative outlined the training etc, as carried out in his particular unit and expressed the hope that some of this unit's personnel would transfer over. The following representatives from units as show were present.:

Members of unit took part in "Battle of Britain" parade. March past salute taken by S/L JAH Cameron, former CO. Members of Air Cadet Sqn and RCAFA also took part.

Board held to review all accounting documents in accordance with AFA0 57.00/03. President, F/L Hawkins from Stn St Hubert; Member, F/L Fontaine Regular Support Officer.

Re-Union and Farewell Ball held at the William Street Armoury. Festivities started Friday evening 6 Oct with a Stag Party at unit HQ, for all officers and airmen. Entertainment held at King George Hotel in city for wives of members attending re-union and female members of unit. Saturday 7 Oct in the afternoon a golf tournament was held for all ranks, and guest wives, followed by a cocktail party in Combined Messes in the early evening. Then a Dinner Dance with the Sherbrooke Regiment's Band was held in the Drill Hall at the Sherbrooke Regiment Armoury. Over 400 people attended this event which included past and present members, their wives and guests. A very fitting and worthy effort on the part of the organizers.

Members of this unit took part along with other units, army, navy, Air Cadets, Canadian Legion, RCAFA in Remembrance Day. Fly past carried out by CDs of EWU. A good show indeed.

Farewell Dining in Night. A farewell Dining-In Night for unit members and wives was held on 18 Nov 61. Event was attended by some 100 persons. Cocktail party at unit HQ followed by a dinner at the "Elks Club" and back to unit HQ for a dance. A/C RA Gilchrist, DFC, CD, Chief of Operations NORAD, representing the AOC ADCHQ was guest speaker. A very excellent affair but the festivities overshadowed by sad event of unit closing. The following personnel were presented with the Canadian Forces Decoration:
