Memories From the Second Course
Lorne Green - I was recruited into the RCAF in September 1950 and I proceeded to Aylmer where I completed my basic training course. I was encouraged to go into this exciting "new" trade even though I had wanted to be a pilot. On completion of my basic training in November 1950, I was then sent to Clinton where I was placed on Contact Training - awaiting my course in Clerk Operations Fighter. ClkOps(Ftr) course #2 started in mid January 1951 and ended in mid March 1951. I was then transfered to Chatham NB to work at the AMES-11 site.
I will provide more detail on some of my interesting experiences and some applicable photos in the near future.
