Section II COMMENTARY |
|||||||
Command and Administration: No significant occurrences. Operations: The squadron participated in three live exercises during the reporting period and conducted ten systems training problems. This section is experiencing manning problems presently, and the projected situation indicates no relief for some time. Civil Engineering: The entire periodic maintenance program has been revised in accordance with AFM 85-1 and is now in operation. Personnel: This unit achieved first place in OJT standings in 37th Air Division (which in turn, was the leader in First Air Force standings) with a total of twelve upgrades. At this point, there are no three-level personnel in the unit; there are six five-level Staff Sergeants in training for seven-level. Manning shortages are being experienced and predicted in all sections during this and the coming quarters due to a malfunction in the 37AD computer processing program. No inputs were programmed for the months of March through June and out-of-cycle requisitions will be some time before they are filled. |
