    COMMENTARY

    Command:

    From 6 July 1967 to 9 July 1967 an IG Team from First Air Force visited the squadron. All areas of the Command were considered satisfactory except for administration.

    On the 24th July 1967, Major Henry Kolb assumed command of the 921st AC&W Squadron replacing Lt. Col. Ward L McCombs.

    A staff assistance team from 37th Air Division visited the squadron from 1 September to 5 September 1967 to assist in the areas of administration and personnel.

    On the 6th September 1967, 1st Lt. Jack H Leonhardt replaced Captain Cecil A Thompson as Personnel Administrative Officer.

    Reverend Smith replaced Reverend Ross E Bailey as auxiliary chaplain for the 921st AC&W Squadron.

    The Commander and Personnel Officer attended the 37th Air Division Commanders Conference at Goose AB on 28 Sep 67.

    Administration/Personnel:

    All eligible persons were screened under the Human Reliability Program.

    A total of 24 personnel arrived versus 30 departing.

    The following personnel were promoted to the rank indicated: Walter J Stephenson, Captain; Eugene M Davids, M/Sgt., John A Lesak, A/2C; Thomas W Heywood, A/2C; Jimmy D McMillan, A/2C; Richard G Traub, A/2C; Arlin H Chauvin, A/2C; Stephen A Hulsey, A/2C; Thomas M McFiren, A/2C.
