Alsask, SK
Photographs

When Bob Agar visited Alsask in May 1998, the main gate to the Operations site was closed and locked. When he returned in May 1999, the lock to the gate had been cut off with bolt cutters and was laying on the ground with the gate wide open. We should note that the radome was still on the tower at this location. The radome has a hole in the side which is probably why it was not removed.

Bob indicated "I parked my 5th wheel in front of the old recreation hall and checked the PMQ's (or prefab as they should be called). As far as I could tell - out of 72 homes, 26 had people living in them, 43 were empty, and 3 large trailer pads were also empty. The domestic site was indicated as a Retirement Villa, but it is in very poor shape, and I can not see anyone new coming to live here in the future".
