Having finished our tour at the remains of the radar station, we then drove back across the bridge to the village of Pagwa River. The photos in this section depict additional scenes of interest along the return route, as well as areas within Pagwa River.

This forest road will probably provide a connection to Highway 11, so access to the Pagwa River area will be much faster.

- General view of the Pagwa River cemetery - 13 June 2002.
There appeared to be about two dozen graves and it does not appear as if this graveyard is being maintained, or that any new graves are being added. Graves dated from the 1920s to about the 1960s and there was no indication of any military graves in this location.

It was interesting to trace some of the dates on the grave markers in the cemetery. The cemetery appears to have fallen into disuse after the station closed, and the population in the village started to drop. The Hudson's Bay Company closed its fur-trade operations at Pagwa about the same time.
