Bob Agar visited the remains at Ramore on 21 August 1999. He had his 5th wheel with him at the time and he spent about 4 1/2 hours in the area taking photos.
Paul Ozorak visited the station on 10 May 1999. He reported the following: "Most of what once made up the domestic site at the Pinetree Line radar station which was located at Ramore has vanished. All of the two storey barrack blocks are gone, as is the mess hall. The buildings which remained in May consisted of the original guard house, the central heating plant, two garages, one H-Building and another hut on the northern side whose purpose is unknown. A greenhouse beside the H-Building has been abandoned. If you look from the domestic site, the Operations area has not changed very much in the past ten years – with the exception of what appears to be the addition of some new antennas (obviously used for civilian purposes). There is a gate blocking the road to the Operations site and this has a "No Trespassing" sign to discourage the curious from proceeding "up the hill". Nobody seems to live or work on the base at this time."
