- The view from Yellow Beach looking up at the site. The tall radio tower was a Non-Directional Beacon navigational aid. The stain on the face of the cliff is what Woody, in his picture, called "Shit Face". It was where sewage was dumped from the site, not very environmentally correct by todays standards - August 1961.
