Wind E to SE at 8-16 first three quarter decreasing to SE to S at 10-15 last quarter. Max. temp. 34.0º, Min. temp. 24.0º. Maintenance today was from 2100 to 2200 hours. Equipment was operating quite normally. Operational results were exceptionally good with a longest track of 254 miles and a max. range of 117 miles and a total of 674 plots for the day. The Tusket Floor Hockey team drove into Yarmouth to play Yarmouth Station, Tusket winning by default. The boys had a rousing good game with the Rinkydinks Team with a score of 3-0 for Tusket.

Overcast at 400 and visibility 6-3 in rain dropping to 5/4 in drizzle first half. Last half clear to scattered , visibility 6-8 in haze. Wind S 25-35 with strong gusts first half increasing to 30-40 and strongs gusts second half. Max temp 43.0, Min 32.0. Maintenance was performed from 2300 to 2359 hours according to maintenance instructions. Equipment was quite normal. Aerial was locked down for wind from 0920 hours for remainder of day. Operational results were nil. Mr. PA Portier sub-contractor from Yarmouth Station and his men came to commence installing the ventilating system in the Radar Operations Room. The "Tuskan" paper is now off the press and the boys showed splendid enthusiasm and cooperation in the composing and printing of this monthly paper.

Ceiling and visibility unlimited all day. Wind W. NW 35-40 decreasing gradually to 20 by mid-day. Max temp 32.0, Min 22.0. Maintenance today was from 2300 to 2359 hours. Equipment was quite normal. Aerial was locked down because of wind until 0600 hours. Weather cleared during early morning and towards noon flying started. Operational results were very good with a max. range of 98 miles and a total of 665 plots for the day. The regular Wed. evening movie was shown in the airmen's Mess this evening.

Ceiling and visibility unlimited first half decreasing to 1500-3000 and visibility 8 last half. Wind light variable at first becoming SW at 8-15 last half. Max. temp. 31.0, Min. 15.0. Maintenance performed today from 2100 to 2200 hours. Equipment quite normal an operational results very good with a 1100 mile track and a total of 609 plots for the day. Sgt Evans from #4 RD, Scoudouc visited this Unit on temporary duty to check the inventory.

Ceiling variable between 100 and 1000 all day. Visibility 1-5 in light rain, snow and drizzle. Wind E at 14-18 at first becoming NW 12-28 and gusty last half. Max. temp. 37, Min.22.0. Maintenance today was from 2100 to 2200 hours and equipment checked as being quite normal. Due to light snow, rain and drizzle all day, operational results were limited to a total of only 16 plots for the day. Mr. P Portier sub-contractor visited this unit from Yarmouth to complete construction of the ventilation set-up in the Radar Operational Bldg. Mr MM McPherson engineer from Yarmouth visited this Unit with his men to survey the situation regarding the erection of an IFF Tower near the Radar section of the camp. A rousing bowling game was played in Yarmouth with Tusket vs #21 Det, Plymouth. Tusket won 3-1.

Ceiling and visibility unlimited all day. Wind light N at 5-10 m.p.h. Maximum temp. 42, Min. 33.0 degrees. Daily maintenance performed from 2200 hours - 2300 hours today in accordance with maintenance instructions. All equipment operating normally. Operational results were very good with a total of 644 plots: a longest track of 130 miles and a maximum range of 97 miles. A movie picture was shown in the airmen's mess. There was an excellent attendance of the Airmen personnel. The wives and friends of the Tusket airmen were allowed to attend the movie.

Ceiling unlimited, visibility 10-15 in haze. Wind NW at 6-12 mph. Max temp 41.0 degrees, Min temp 32.0 degrees. Daily maintenance today was performed according to the maintenance instructions and coupling unit was completely checked and cleaned. Equipment was operating normally and operational results were average for Sunday flying with a total of 328 plots and a maximum range of 107 miles. An extra messing Committee meeting assembled in the Adjutants office. Discussions regarding ideas to improve th mess and the palatability of the food resulted.

Ceiling and visibility unlimited. Wind WNW at 8-12 mph. Max Temp 45.0 degrees. Min Temp 33.0 degrees. No maintenance today as it is to be carried out after midnight. Equipment operating quite normally. Operational results were exceptionally good with a total of 1521 plots, a longest track of 1300 miles, and a maximum range of 107 miles. The Tusket fellows have now got the urge to get outdoors and play scrub baseball since the Weather has been excellent for such sports. Greater enthusiasm for outdoor sports will be evident as soon as a proper sports field is cleared.

Ceiling and visibility unlimited. Wind light NW to W; Max temp 35.0 degrees. Min 29.0 degrees. Yesterdays maintenance performed from 0100 hours to 0200 hours and todays maintenance from 2100 to 2200 hours. Both were performed in accordance with instructions for the respective days. Equipment was operating quite normally. Operational results were exceptionally good with a total of 1257 plots for the day. A station movie was shown in the Airmen's mess which was exciting and enjoyed by all attending.

Ceiling and visibility unlimited. Wind light N. Max temp 38.0 degrees. Min 31.0 degrees. Maintenance today performed from 1900 to 2000 hours in accordance with maintenance instructions. Equipment operating quite normally. Operational results were exceptionally good with a total of 1362 plots for the day. Permission has been granted in regard to obtaining a sports field by Mr G Hatfield and levelling off is yet to be completed through W&B Yarmouth.

Ceiling and visibility unlimited all day. Surface wind. Light SW. Temp Max 62º, Min 47º. Possible contact flying hrs. 24. F/O Beharriell, was on the station today for the purpose of taking a summary of evidence on a AWL case. Among the other visitors on the station today were, Dr Bingay, re CLES courses being taken by personnel, Al. Benson, and Mr. Zellar, both of YMCA aux service men, were here for the purpose of checking re requirements supplied by the YMCA Maintenance - 1300 to 1400 - 1 hour. Ceiling unlimited, visibility generally 1-6 until 0930 ADT in ground fog, improving to 10-15, lowering last two hours to 1/8 - 3/4 in ground fog. Surface wind light, SSW Contact flying hrs. 21. Temp Max 62º, Min 43º. A bingo game was held in the evening, with prizes given to the lucky winners. Maintenance 2300-2359 - one hour. No. of tracks 84, no. of plots 804, Max range 94, max length 87.

High overcast lowering 3000'-5000' lower broken to overcast 400' - 1000'. Vis. 6-8 mi. becoming generally 3-6 mi. backing gradually to NNE 8-12 mph. Temp Max 57º, Min 49º. A church run was held in the morning to Yarmouth. In the evening a movie was shown and was enjoyed by personnel and their wives and lady friends who attended. Maintenance 1300 to 1400 hrs. Ceiling generally 1000'-2000' lowering to 600'-800' last two hours. Visibility 8-15 mi. except 4-6 mi. 1st three hours and 2-3 mi. last 3 hrs. of the day. Rain, light fog, and drizzle last half and light rain and fog first three hours. Surface wind NNE 10-15 mph. except 15-20 mph 1st of 2nd half. Temp. Max. 48º. Min 36º. Maintenance 2225 to 2325 hrs.
