Tofino, BC

Very little detail has been obtained about the original RDS which was located at Tofino in the 1942-1945 time period. We are assuming, until advised otherwise, that the original RDS was constructed similar to that of the Pinetree Line long range radar station which existed in the mid 1950's - with the administrative complex located at the airport, and the radar complex located on what has become known as "Radar Hill".
