Operations – Sabre flying for the month was 576 hours.
Dependents Housing – Planned units to be started in January 1954, are: 443 living units and 17 classrooms.
Private Motor Vehicle Registration – Negotiations were completed with French officials in Paris for the uniform licensing of private motor vehicles in France. AF plates were to be substituted for the existing TT plates.

Operations – Exercise "Snowball" commenced on the 9th. This exercise is a continuing interception exercise, which involves the use of USAF TACC at Kaiserslautern and the French TACC at Metz. 2 (F) Wing participated by providing four target aircraft and four interceptor aircraft. November was a month of fog, which prevented 2 (F) Wing from attaining its target of flying hours.

Construction Engineering – Runway repairs were completed at 2 (F) Wing.
Dependents Housing – A contract was signed for the construction of 1,014 living units and 39 school rooms for RCAF dependents in France.

Repatriation – With the authorization of dependents transportation to Europe at Government expense, many officers and airmen indicated their desire to extend their tour in Europe.
Operations – 2 (F) Wing deployed to Zweibrucken on 6 August to enable runway repairs to be made at Grostenquin. Operation "Momentum", a test of RAF defensive Forces, employed 2 (F) Wing. 416 Squadron was deployed to North Luffenham for the operation. 421 and 430 Squadrons were used as raiding forces.
Administration – 1 Air Division took over administration control of RCAF personnel in NATO elements in Europe.
